Hey Leader,

I’m gonna let you in on a little secret… I’ve been feeling like this newsletter is, well… boring.

So we’re shaking things up!! 🎉

Right below, you’ll find our new “Scroll-Stoppers” section full of snackable gems guaranteed to make you think, smile, or go “wait what?!”.

And at the very bottom (yes, I do want you to read to the end 😉), you’ll meet “This Sparked Something,” where Pau (my incredible EA) and I share things that have been lighting us up lately. Think: joy, curiosity, random interests, and maybe a toy review from Moose, Cooper, Penny, or Darky. Can you guess what types of animals they are?

Don’t worry, though! Your tried-and-true favorites are still here:

  • Try This Today = real tools you can actually use TODAY

  • Your Power Reframe = mindset shifts & strategies for a more human & badass world of work

We’re still here to lead boldly & live fully. But now with a little more magic!

In your corner,

Scroll-Stoppers

This week’s most valuable scroll-worthy stuff, from tools to truth bombs!

  • There Are 6 Types Of People-Pleasers. Which Are You?

  • Fun fact: As a Managing Director, I blocked off every Wednesday afternoon, no meetings, no distractions. That one boundary made me a better leader.

  • Burnout isn’t personal, it’s cultural. This SHRM article explains how organizational norms, not just individual choices, are the real culprits behind executive exhaustion, and what leaders can do to intervene.

Try This Today

Quick experiments for calmer inboxes, lighter loads, and more human leadership.

  1. Marie Kondo Your Inbox.
Stop hoarding unread newsletters (no joke, I had 87). Pick the one you actually want to read (hi 👋) and unsubscribe from the rest. I did this on Tuesday and it felt AMAZING.

  2. Share something small but human in your next team meeting.
A song you’re into. A meal you loved. A moment that felt good. Model leadership that’s more human & less robotic.

  3. Put one “should” on snooze.
Seriously, choose one thing that’s been buzzing in your brain but doesn’t need your energy this week. Snooze it (or delete it entirely!). That’s leadership, too.

This Week’s Big Move

Because progress is made one bold choice at a time.

I taught my first masterclass this week (!!) and it was so cool to see so many women in leadership (Directors, VPs, even C-suite) show up & bet on themselves.

The Chief Everything Officer Loop hit the hardest.

The chat blew up with:
“That’s me!”
“Omg, I’m all of these”
“Yikes - that’s what I’m doing”

If you’ve ever thought, “I want more space to think, but I’m always reacting,” or “I’m successful on paper, but I have no idea where my personal life went…” this is the one to watch.

Your Power Reframe

Because what you believe shapes how you live & lead.

You’re not behind… you’re over-informed.
Too many ideas, too many voices, too many tabs open. No wonder you feel stuck. The goal isn’t to keep up. It’s to zoom out, get clear, and move on your terms. That’s not falling behind, that’s leading boldly.

This Sparked Something

Little joys, leadership sparks, & random things we’re loving this week!

  • Currently reading: Zodiac Academy 😂 ~Alli & The Courage To Be Disliked ~Pau

  • System we’re testing: the ‘Vision Vault’ Pau built! New ideas get added to our vision vault & then we use the 3Ds on them to decide how we move forward (without getting lost in the noise!). ~Alli

  • Unexpected joy: I went camping last weekend, and when it came time to pack up, it was raining. You’d think packing up camp in the rain would be terrible, but I actually loved it. It felt like the start of fall! ~Alli

  • Favorite toy: My humans got me an oinking pig toy (I think they’re going to hate it soon) and I LOVE it! ~Moose the Boston Terrier

  • This never gets old: Watching a leader go from “I can’t” to “I just did.” ~Pau
